STRATEGIC PLANNER::
Since 2006 as founder, Jim Crooks has overseen the entire JC Power operation. Taking the lead on devising a communication campaign's grand strategy, Jim's passion includes rolling up his sleeves to write the copy for a quick press release or story, devise "off-the-cuff" remarks for his clients and put each communications tactic into the context of the overall game plan. His work for clients can be heard in public officials' comments and read in national trade journals, regional publications and in community publications throughout NE Ohio.
Twice voted into elected office since 2005 in the City of Independence, Jim has earned the trust of the people in his community, similar to the trust he has earned with JC Power's clients. He never makes a recommendation he wouldn't put to use in his own campaigns.
Jim holds a Master's Degree in Political Science and Campaign Management and has advised on dozens of political, issue and communications campaigns. He is a board member and officer of the MidWest Chapter of the American Association of Political Consultants and is an adjunct professor of political science at The University of Akron.
