
In Search of an Identity
In 2009, Veolia Environmental Services, a global leader in the environmental services industry, was seeking to successfully launch DryAsh™, a newly created subdivision. DryAsh™ has the potential to revolutionize the coal industry by eliminating the environmental and legal issues associated with traditional methods of storing and reusing by-products of coal power plants. Before DryAsh™ could begin to have an impact, it needed a distinct identity and an effective means to communicate its cutting edge services to potential clients throughout the U.S.
JC Power Rises to the Challenge
JC Power rose to the challenge by helping DryAsh™ create a corporate identity from the ground up. The first step involved the creation of a corporate logo to help DryAsh™ become a distinct player in the environmental services industry. The design of a dynamic and informative website followed, enabling DryAsh™ to highlight its revolutionary solutions to a wide-scale audience. Finally, JC Power crafted a strategic and coordinated marketing plan, including the creation of sales sheets, direct mailers, and a recurring e-newsletter targeting supervisors of selected coal power plants throughout the U.S.
The Beginning of Something Revolutionary
Through the use of applying a unified approach which integrates all communication mediums, JC Power enabled DryAsh™ to start down the path of revolutionizing the coal energy industry. The results of JC Power’s strategic efforts have been visible, as the services of DryAsh™ are now fully operational at a coal power plant in Southern Ohio, while several other projects are currently in development.
